I am a yoga teacher, health counselor and life coach.
Originally from Switzerland, I have always had an immense passion for healthy and creative living. Over the past two decades I have gained a deep knowledge and understanding of many different wellness areas. I am a true believer in the “whole picture” – the integration of body, mind and soul. Cooking and creating nutritious and delicious meals, moving and stretching the body, mindfulness and meditation, connecting with family and friends are the blueprints of my life.
In retrospect, I would say that I have been a “life coach” or mentor to many people throughout my whole life. I am genuinely interested in life stories and consider myself an attentive listener. After suffering and struggling with the effects of Lyme disease more than a decade ago, I started to change many areas of my life. This eventually led to a professional journey in which I dove deeper into the world of yoga and holistic health, learning about the power of the mind and its connection with body and soul.
Besides seeing clients and teaching in my yoga studio, I am a writer and author of two novels. Together with my husband, I am currently working on my first non-fiction book. I am a mother of two adult sons who became great cooks (spoiling their girlfriends with tasty recipes) as well as enthusiastic yogis. Our family get-togethers are always filled with tasty meals, great (sometimes loud) conversations, lots of laughter, good wine, as well as love and respect.
I consider myself a lifelong student – continually learning through workshops, domestic, international conferences, and self-study.
